The Port of Wilmington has started off the new year with some added cargo.
Dole Foods and port logistics company Enstructure announced a second vessel has been added to a weekly rotation between the Port of Wilmington and South America.
The vessel will bring an additional 1240-foot containers to the port with tropical fresh fruits from Colombia, Honduras and Guatemala.
Dole and the Port of Wilmington have been partners for over 40 years.
