HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Center of Technology’s fruit sale fundraiser starts Monday, Oct. 24. Orders and money are due by end of day Friday, Nov 4. See any COT student or call the center at (205) 486-9481.
Fruit selections this year are:
• Navel oranges will be $30 for a 20-pound box or $40 for a 40-pound box.
• Hamlin oranges will be $22 for a 20-pound box.
• Clementines will be $25 for an approximately 8-pound box.
• Red grapefruit will be $25 for a 20-pound box.
• Red Delicious apples will be $32 for a 20-pound box.
• A 20-pound mixed citrus box will be $38, as will the Grand Slam, approximately 20 pounds of fruit that includes navel oranges, D'Anjou pears, Red Delicious apples and Golden Delicious apples.
The fruit is tentatively set to be delivered on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Proceeds will go to help the many programs at the Haleyville Center of Technology, which thanks the public in advance for its support.
