The wait is finally over. Today, Guests have been invited to experience the reopening of the Polynesian Resort in Walt Disney World with new Moana-themed rooms for all Guests who stay, a new dining experience, and lots of fun offerings in celebration.
While Guests enter this incredible Hawaiian-inspired lobby, they are filled with Aloha and are treated to free POG juice. POG juice, better known as passionfruit, orange, and guava juice that originated in Maui, Hawaii is found in many Walt Disney World locations including Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and more.
Today, @FiBelleFi on Twitter shared the news this morning with her followers, stating:

It is important to note that Disney Cruise Line Ships, Disneyland Resort, and my favorite location, Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa in Hawaii also serve this specialty drink.
In my opinion, the Polynesian Resort has some of the best pin trading boards in Walt Disney World! Located inside the lobby, Guests can find hundreds of Disney pins to exchange for free! We are thrilled to see pin trading is back in this Resort and thanks to lost.girls.neverland on Instagram, she states:

Of course, it wouldn’t be a celebration without some Dole Whip. Not only is Disney celebrating the reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Resort but also Dole Whip Day, and what better way than to create a Dole Whip inspired by Disney’s Moana.
Check out this beautiful and ‘”Shiny” new creation as lost.girls.neverland posts:
It’s Shiny! The new Tamatoa Inspired Dole Whip Cone for #dolewhipday and the grand reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Resort! Complete with orange and raspberry dole whip swirl and a blinged out cone!! #moana #disneyspolynesianresort #disneyspolynesianvillageresort #waltdisneyworld #waltdisneyworldresort #shiny #tamatoa #dolewhipday
Wondering if this is a seasonal treat? According to Disney Parks Blog:
Swirled up especially for the reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Pineapple Lanai is offering an exclusive “Tamatoa-inspired” Dipped Cone – Dole Whip raspberry swirled with Dole Whip orange in a white chocolate-dipped waffle cone coated with “shiny” gold sugar. This super glittery Dole Whip – a must-try for fans of “Moana”- is available at the resort today, for Dole Whip Day, through July 21.
With only a few days to try this new treat, we hope you are able to experience it, and please note that POG juice is available at Kona Cafe and the famous Ohana restaurant which is officially open with modified offerings.
