Jenny Seckinger and Ace Schlameus of Colliers represented the developer, Hass Holdings. WellMed operates primary care and multi-specialty care clinics in Texas, Florida and New Mexico. Burton Construction handled construction of the two building office and retail redevelopment project.
TopSoap Car Wash acquired a shuttered Sonic Drive-In on a 0.76-acre site at 8405 N. Houston Rossyln Road to launch its expansion. TopSoap, which has a flagship location at 1720 N. Loop 336 W. in Conroe, plans to develop at least five locations in Houston. Opening is planned in summer 2022. Joseph Marburger, Brad LyBrand and Glenn Dickerson of NewQuest Properties represented the buyer. Amit Mehta of Amit Mehta Inc. represented the seller, SRI Real Estate Properties.
Idle Hands leased 4,711 square feet at the former Rosemont bar location at Montrose Collective, 910 Westheimer, for a Houston location. The development is a project by Radom Capital and was represented by Brittney Austin and Linda Rubiola of Shop Cos. Hannah Tosch, Wade Greene and Chris Nash of Colliers represented the tenant. Idle Hands, also in Austin, is a partnership of Matt Wolski and Andrew Hunter. The Montrose location will provide tropical craft cocktails, a full kitchen with roof deck/patio seating and live music upon opening this fall, according to Colliers.
David Cottrell III of David Cottrell Investments of Houston signed leases for tenants in his new East Bay Plaza retail development at 6500 7th St. in Bay City. Juicy Cajun Seafood of Angleton and Lake Jackson leased 3,100 square feet and Billy Bob Coburn of Coburn Chiropractic Center, with offices in Lake Jackson and West Columbia, leased 2,000 square feet. The center is 90 percent leased.
Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center, a provider of wellness programs focused on fall prevention and orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation, leased 2,160 square feet in Cinco Ranch Village, at 23144 Cinco Ranch Blvd., for a new location. Kyle Knight with Weitzman handled negotiations as tenant representative for Fyzical. Huntington Properties represented the shopping center.
Haley Golden of Evergreen Commercial Realty represented Armstrong McCall in leasing 3,255 square feet at Atascosita Commons, at 7055 FM 1960 Road E., Humble, and 2,500 square feet at the Humblewood Center, at 19751 Highway 59 N. in Humble. Debbie Adams with Edge Realty Partners represented the Atascosita Commons landlord, Kimco Realty Corp. and Frank Militello of Sembler represented the Humblewood Center landlord, FREP III. Armstrong McCall is a distributor of beauty supplies and salon furniture.
Main Squeeze Juice Co., a Louisiana-based juice and smoothie bar franchise, opened at 1501 W. Parkwood in Friendswood. The business is owned by MSTS Thomas, which stands for Mike and Suzie Thomas and their daughters Tiffany and Sarah.
Bahama Bucks leased 1,567 square feet in the Commons at Harvest Green, at 11135 Harlem Road, in Richmond. The shaved ice shop has grown to more than 100 locations since it started in 1990 in Lubbock. Kristen Barker of Wulfe & Co. represented the tenant.
Tex-Mex Grill & Bar leased 3,000 square feet at FM 1960 & Eldridge Center, at 12620 FM 1960 Road W. Joaquin Orozco of Resolut RE represented the landlord. Carla Wade of Texas United Realty represented the tenant.
Anytime Fitness leased 4,600 square feet at the Lakes of Riata Shopping Center on Barker Cypress Road. Jack Gaffney and Chase Tucker of Finial Group represented the landlord.
Jersey Mike’s Subs opened at 7118 FM 1960 E. in Atascocita.T he business is run by franchise owner Scott Agan.
Spice Korner Corp. leased space in the Shoppes at Westpark at 26440 FM 1093 in Richmond. Jason Gibbons and John Buckley of Finial Group represented the landlord.
