OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Businesses are busy gearing up to help northern Michigan ring in the new year.
We stopped by one Otsego County wine shop to check in on what's available.
The Rusty Pelican Wine Shop in Gaylord is stocking its shelves with party supplies.
They offer a variety of wines, ports, ciders and sparkling wines.
All are handcrafted from northern Michigan and southern Florida.
The shop is known for its 100% fruit-based sparkling wines.
“The 100% fruit wines don't taste like a standard wine or a typical wine. They taste like the fruit they’re made from,” Rusty Pelican Owner Cassie Meredith said. “Our number one seller for eight years in a row we've been open since 2015 is the key lime because it tastes like a margarita.
If you'd like to stop by the Rusty Pelican, they’re offering tastings Monday Through Saturday.
