We're starting out with the vegetables, carrots, you know, they dry out and go bad fast, but there's *** way to make your carrots last for 3 to 4 weeks, maybe even longer. So you see this little part on top, sometimes it's green. Sometimes it's like this. Yeah, you're gonna wanna cut this off. Here's why this little root right here. It's actually sucking all the nutrients out of the carrot. So as soon as you get the car carrots, you wanna slice that off. Ok, then carrots do really well in moisture. So get, get *** piece of tupperware like this, fill it. I fill this halfway with water, put the carrots inside like this, seal it up. Keep it in your fridge. Mine's pretty packed. Keep it in your fridge. And those carrots are gonna stay, save you *** trip, the grocery store once or twice next up, lettuce wilt and goes bad within days. But you can get 1 to 2 weeks out of them with this hack. Here's the deal. What makes salad go bad? Is the moisture getting into it and making the, the leaves brown. So take *** paper towel like that. Ok. Put it down at the bottom of *** bowl or Tupperware like this, then dump in the salad, then take *** little bit of salt just *** little bit, just *** little pinch of salt like that. That's gonna suck the moisture out. Take another paper towel, put it right on top. This is gonna absorb all the moisture put into your fridge. This is gonna last *** while. Ok, let's move on to fruits. Berries go bad within days until you do this. Normally I just buy these from the store, throw them in the fridge. Hope for the best. But there are actually *** couple of things you should do according to these hacks. OK? The first is take *** look at your berries. You see this one right here. It's kind of moldy. It's kind of gross already, right? That can infect the other ones ever hear about *** rotten apple infecting the other apples. It's sort of the same with berries.
