Felipe Godina, owner of Jujuice Cold Press Juicery, has expanded his Laredo-based healthy choice business to San Antonio.
"San Antonio is a great city and is growing a lot. We knew this would be a good spot to expand to," said Godina about his new Alamo City juice bar located at 4009 Broadway St., which opened Monday.

With the help of his wife Denisse, Godina opened his first store in Laredo in 2016 after he bought himself a cold press juicer to help maintain his weight and energy. Godina said he sold his healthy juices and smoothies to family and friends and local farmers markets before launching his business.
"The first juice that I made was mixed with apple and grapefruit, and when I first took a sip of that juice, I imagined my body and mind already getting healthier," said Godina, who now lives in San Antonio. "That's when I realized that I needed to share that feeling with my community."
