GRAFTON—Apples, oranges and pineapples, OH MY! The Grafton High School (GHS) Entertainers will once again be offering up delicious, fresh produce, during their annual fundraiser.
“The Entertainers will be hosting their annual fruit sale, to raise much needed funds from now through December 4,” said GHS Director of Choirs Duretha Mayle. “Many varieties are being offered this year, to give individuals a great selection to choose from.”
This year, participants will be able to select from ten different options when purchasing the produce. Oranges, grapefruits, tangerines and pineapples will be sold in varying weights and price points.
A 40-pound box of juicy, ripe produce will cost $40, while 20-pound options are being sold for $25 each. In addition, participants can purchase 10 pounds of oranges for $15 or 20 pounds of tangerines for $35.
“We will also be selling a half bushel of apples for $20, and for those who would like a mixture of fruits, a 20-pound trio gift box of oranges, apples and pears is being offered for $30,” Mayle revealed.
The fruit will be delivered to GHS on Wednesday, December 16 and will be available for pick up from 3:00-8:00 p.m.
“We will also be offering curbside pickup for those who wish to maintain social distancing, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic,” Mayle disclosed.

Both cash and checks will be accepted forms of payment for this year’s fundraiser. Checks will need to be made out to the GHS Entertainer Boosters.
“This is our annual fundraiser and is usually a great success, so we are hoping that this year yields the same results,” said Mayle. “We would like to say thank you so much for your continued support of our program! You are appreciated!”
