Zoans are one of three main classes of Devil Fruits in One Piece and they allow their users to transform themselves into animals and animal-human hybrids at their will. It is also the class with the most subclasses, and one of them is the powerful Ancient Zoan.

As the name suggests, Ancient Zoan type Devil Fruits allow the users to become ancient animals and their hybrids, and gain a tremendous amount of strength in the process. Wano Country, being an arc full of ancient and mythical creatures, introduced a lot of these powers to us.

7 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon

One of the most powerful Ancient Zoan powers, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon was introduced to the fans in the Second Act of the Wano Country arc through its user, King the Wildfire, who is known to be the strongest member of the Beasts Pirates All-Stars.

This Devil Fruit allows him to become a Pteranodon, which grants him the ability to fly, along with ferocious speed and power. Its strength was seen when King kicked the Queen Mama Chanter off the waterfall in Wano Country with a single kick, and later when he faced off against Sanji.

6 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Brachiosaurus

Another Ancient Zoan type Devil Fruit that was introduced in Wano Country's Second Act, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Brachiosaurus was eaten by Queen the Plague, another one of the All-Stars who is considered to be second to only King. With this Devil Fruit, Queen gains a lot of power and durability, as expected of a Brachiosaurus.

While Queen doesn't gain any claws or sharp teeth, he does gain a tremendous amount of mass that he uses in techniques such as the Brachio Bomber. So far, the biggest power of this Devil Fruit has been its incredible recovery rate, which was displayed in Udon after Big Mom defeated Queen the Plague with ease.

5 Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Saber-toothed Cat

Introduced recently in One Piece Chapter 998, the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Saber-toothed Cat was eaten by one of the members of Kaido's Tobi Roppo, Who's Who. This Devil Fruit is incredibly powerful and gives him the ability to become a Saber-toothed Cat from ancient times.

The size increase offered by this Devil is massive, as is the strength and durability increase. This Devil Fruit is similar to Rob Lucci's Leopard Zoan but better in every way possible. The creature, being a carnivorous Zoan, also gets stronger when it is bloodlusted.

4 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Triceratops

The Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Triceratops was eaten by Sasaki, a member of the Tobiroppo who leads the Armored Division of the Beasts Pirates. Like the Saber-tooth Devil Fruit, it was revealed in One Piece Chapter 998 in Sasaki's fight against Franky.

This Devil Fruit is quite impressive as it makes him a giant Triceratops with extremely high attacking and defending capabilities. Its size makes it even harder to defeat as it towers over even General Franky. Its strongest asset appears to be the horn, with which it pushed back the General quite easily.

3 Kumo Kumo no Mi, Model: Rosamygale Grauvogeli

Kumo Kumo no Mi, Model: Rosamygale Grauvogeli was eaten by Black Maria of the Tobiroppo of the Beasts Pirates. This Devil Fruit offers her the power to transform herself into a giant spider from the Triassic period. Being an Ancient model, it offers a certain level of strength and durability boost that a regular Zoan cannot match.

This Devil Fruit also lets her produce webs and trap even strong characters such as Sanji, a pirate worth 330 million Berries. The hybrid form of this Devil Fruit seems to operate in a different way as Black Maria keeps her upper body and her lower half turns into the spider instead.

2 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Spinosaurus

Eaten by one of the first members of the Tobiroppo to be revealed in the series, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Spinosaurus belongs to Page One. This Devil Fruit, as the name suggests, lets him become a Spinosaurus and a hybrid of it according to his will. Its ferocious powers were seen when he took on Sanji in battle and managed to tank everything that the Straw Hat cook threw his way.

In the war of Onigashima, Page One is fighting against Usopp and has, so far, dealt with him with minimal effort. Everything about this Devil Fruit, from its strength to its durability, is extraordinary.

1 Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pachycephalosaurus

Eaten by the sister of Page One, Ulti, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pachycephalosaurus was introduced in Wano Country's Third Act. This Devil Fruit is quite impressive and fits the hotheaded personality of Ulti. It lets her transform into a Pachycephalosaurus and its hybrid and along with a tremendous strength boost, gives her the ability to headbutt her opponents and shatter their bones.

In her hybrid form, she was able to go toe-to-toe with Luffy, who was using his Gear Second and Gear Third at the same time. In her full Pachycephalosaurus form, Ulti made Luffy consider going Gear Fourth against her, which is an incredible feat. What's more, she was able to break Usopp's skull with just a few headbutts and nearly killed Nami mostly by herself.
